Szentháromság szobor

A Fő tér dísze 1701 óta. Löwenburg Jakab és felesége, Thököly Katalin nevéhez fűződik, akik 1695 és 1701 között állítatták fel, bár alkotója ismeretlen.

A pestisjárvány elleni küzdelemnek állít emléket. Egy időben a teret is róla nevezték el. Csavart oszlopa például szolgált más hasonló alkotásoknak. A barokk egyik legjelentékenyebb szoborcsoportja az országban.
Ezt már a 18. században is elismerték, s ennek megfelelően javítgatták máig. (Volt olyan megoldás is, hogy bebugyolálták a szobrokat télire). Sajnos nagyon ártott neki az, hogy a 19. század végén köréje ültetett fákat kivágták, s a teret a szobor felé lejtették.

A talajvíz, amit korábban a fagyökerek felszívtak, az esővízzel megerősödve elindult felfelé a kőben. Nem biztos, hogy a legutóbbi igen alapos renoválás hosszú időre megóvja az alkotást a pusztulástól. Vederemo (majd meglátjuk).
